the homecoming of Clarence Elkins.
On June 4, 1999, Clarence was convicted
of murder, attempted aggravated murder, three counts of rape, and
felonious assault. The victims: Judy Johnson (Clarence's mother-in-law,
and his then 6 year old niece.
Unfortunately, Clarence was wrongly convicted.
On December 15, 2005, all charges were dropped
and he was released from Mansfield Correctional. Clarence was able
to come home to his family including his wife Melinda for the first
time in 7 years.
