NBC News - Nightly and MSNBC - Major Storm: Winter
Arrives Early in Buffalo Area
First Call UPLinks
was called to cover an early winter storm in the Western New York
area. Wet, heavy snow blanketed Buffalo and its Northern suburbs.
More than 300,000 were without power due to the storm. A state of
emergency was in effect across the region, banning all nonessential
travel. Branches and power lines lay draped across cars and houses,
and normally busy downtown streets were still, blanketed by up to
two feet of snow.
Crew included Hoss Warner, Harvey Marshall and Dan Sack. |
